ActFax Program Files (Fresh Installation and Update) 

ActFax primarily consists of two components, the fax server and the fax client. The fax server is installed only on a single computer in the network and stores and administrates all data and is responsible for the transmission and receipt of fax messages. The fax client is installed on all computers in the network that should be able to create new faxes and to have access to existing faxes. One part of the fax client is the ActiveFax printer, which is used to send faxes from Windows applications. For the installation of the fax server and the fax client, the same setup program is used.

Installation  Server side

This is main interface in active fax server

 

 first of all you have to configure security setting

01 Extra , Security Setting  change setting  like    Picture

02 then click on user administrator  for create another users

Create users follow the picture, it there you can change each users permit-ion also

this is very important step there you can configure send mail thought your internal mail server

Installation client  application

Send fax from your PC

if  you completed install the client application its automatically install virtual printer on your system (printer & fax)  after install the client you can see the Activefax client on your desktop

01 Open you want to fax document
02 Go print and select the activefax
03 it'll appear  the dialog box and ask  usename and password  (which is  server pre defined password for each users )
04 finally type fax number and send it
